That's pretty much the smart solution for iphone users. before i upgraded i still had cell phones with T9 keypadd and those are extremely easy to memorize so you never take your eyes off the road while texting. to this day i don't know why apple doesn't have a T9 keypad for texting. it'd work wonders.
