I want to say it was an interview with Naughty Dog that Kotaku did a while back, i couldnt tell you for sure. But just look at the past generations, the made crash for PS1 and then sold off the rights, then made jak and daxter for ps2, then uncharted for ps3.

Strange they would continue on with uncharted. They have been quoted in the past saying they like to start a new franchise each generation and stick with it until the end of that generation and then move on to something new. I dont have my NES and havent had it for years, but regardless i was not ever implying they couldnt be fixed, as much as that they had serious issues to begin with. I do not know anyone who has owned one and not had problems with a game not loading sometimes.
