That movie was frickin’ awesome. I’m game for a new take on It, but The Mist really does not need another attempt.

Anyone else find this sketch completely flopped for them? I just had like zero lols. You need to balance lols with dark if you want to hammer the point home.

I really never understood dissatisfaction with Doctor Who over the years, and am failing to see anything really different with the start of Season 10 compared to the others. But its great and I love it and I’m happy that people in this position are also happy.

I’m not entirely sure what these prequels were ever supposed to amount to, but it seemed to me that the minute they threw the name Alien in front of this one they had decided to give up on it entirely.

Given that northeastern Canada would be Baffin Bay and Ellesmere Island-ish, your description of the location of the star nosed mole could be articulated much more specifically and less USA-centricly. (Northeast US and Southeast Canada. The wording from the linked page would also work).

But the developer didn’t back away from it because they felt it was an improvement to the game; the Japanese version still holds the original text. They did it because they didn’t want to offend people, which isn’t even the same as wanting the content to carry the same meaning in the West as in Japan.
