Oh it sure is. No doubt. But since they don’t seem to have internalized or even really acknowledged important lessons related to my anecdote, I highly doubt I will find the time to try it. I’ve got better games to play. (back then I was young and carefree, today I have kids and a job and precious little gaming time).

A long time ago I spent a lot of time considering how great Banjo Kazooie was, and how everything along those lines from Rare (Twooie, DK64) was not. For some reason that first game made the collecting totally enjoyable and just fucking fun. What was the alchemy, the magic seasoning, the lynch pin?
