1st gen Sport Cup = 2nd gen SS grip levels

Don't forget, the CSL's tires are 10mm narrower than the M4s. So not an apples to apples comparison.

Don't get me wrong, this is definitely just a preliminary figure for the M4. I expect it to be much faster.

The CSL was and is in fact limited to 250kph.

Tire technology has greatly evolved over the last 8 years. Difference in tires is negligible. M4 had PSS. M4 is slower because of the massive weight difference.

2 seconds slower than an M3 CSL...

Oh we'll definitely see it in the Macan.

Oh I'm all for putting a GT3 Cup car engine in a Boxter/Cayman, but it's not going to happen. To lower Porsches fleet average they're going to have to put in a 4 cylinder. That 4 cylinder could make it's way into the Cayenne and Panamera as well because...those are the cars that sell.

A few Ferrari Californias have a MT.

A team of Porsche engineers is not a team of independent engineers. Of course they're not going to find anything wrong with their $450k supercar, they're out trying to selling Porsche 918s right now.

Aesthetics are subjective.

As it stands, the One:1 hasn't proven anything. It's top speed is theoretical.

Horrendously slow. But speed limits in Sweden aren't any higher than in the US. Technically lower if you count that toll road in TX.

Can't drive a One:1 on US roads.

"The Ten Loudest Road Cars Ever Made" would imply stock vehicles. A stock Jaguar F-Type R Coupe is nowhere near the top 10 loudest road cars ever made at around 101 dB MAX. A Gallardo Superleggera with straight pipes can produce sound in excess of 130 dB. A Porsche Carrera GT "only" registers 115 dB. An Enzo with

Zero lag. Electric power fills in the lapse of torque and power down low, then the turbo kicks in at higher RPM.

If they put a motor up front or the batteries they could also make the weight distribution exactly 50/50.

Well AMG can get 360hp out of the 2.0L in the A45AMG. That's running 26psi. But does the engine have to be 2.0L? If they drop two cylinders off a 3.4L it'll be over 2.0L, which makes 400hp a little more feasible. There's also the possibility it could see some sort of additional hybrid power. If they strap on a big

The answer is an '08 Superleggera. Stock exhaust is in excess of 105 dB.

Turbo.
