It's about the same really...we use powdered sugar on cookies because it makes them a little sweeter...our recipe doesn't have a whole lot of sugar for that reason.
Powdered sugar on the rolling pin takes care of that...also, use less sugar in the dough to make sure they aren't too sweet once the rolling process is complete.
Too many people treat this as an either/or proposition. In reality it isn't. If you can't afford college, or if you simply don't WANT TO GO to college, or if you can't decide on what you want to do after college...a trade school is a wonderful way to get skills to enter the work force until you know.
