Totally agree on the tiling when it comes to countertops. When the wife and I remodeled our kitchen, we used granite tile and it looks absolutely amazing...for about 10% of the cost of slab.

Best use for DB for me was keeping all my grad-school work in one place (including my EndNote library. I needed access to various papers/sources/syllabi at all times, including whilst at work...so having it in DB really a big plus.
I guess...but Pirates of Silicon Valley was more about the rivalry than Jobs himself (except for that part where Jobs separated the "Macintosh" group)... I think what I liked about Pirates was the very accurate portrayal of Jobs and Gates as the flawed and sometimes mean people they actually are.
