Well, they pushed the PS3 early to fight the HDDVD fight. For a year+ the PS3 at 599 was cheaper than 90% of the other stand a lone PS3 players, helping Sony secure the new media format(thankfully, since blu-ray has more growth room while HD-DVD was red lasers max potential.)

I personally think they rushed the ps3

Kinect and Spawts.

I think a model that would be more accessible would be a mixture of both worlds. A small monthly fee to maintain your 'account' such as a steam account, and purchasing of licenses for specific games. I think Turbine or Sony tried this for a while, which had me bouncing around quite a few games.

The issue is if you

That's why I had to buy a hori stick for it. I think that was my first Hori and got me addicted to solid mechanical arcade sticks/kits for my fighters.

The VMU had so much potential, but it just turned out to be an over-complicated memory card.

Evolution consists of two parts: Adaptation and Mutation. Neither are guaranteed to to be a positive step for a life form.

They have turned the gaming machine into a set top box / less operable pc. This begs to question why can't PS4, existing consoles or existing affordable PC hardware do many of the set top box

One of my fave systems. SFZ3, SF3TS, KOF, Vampire Chronicles, All the other great capcom games and all the great sega games.

The controller was definitely not one of my faves though lol.

How much more to make room for my 3 27" monitors? :\

I'm waiting for one of you nikempoops to be running around with this thing to only get shot by the cops. Oh the surprise on his face when he gets hit by a little lego block as your corpse trembles on the ground.... priceless. :(

Well, the problem is 99% of the free to play games really are pay to win. It's a serious issue with the model companies are striving for. It's either DLC or content you need to really enjoy the game. When it comes down to it I would rather pay 15 a month for constant changes and large updates and 40 every two years

Exactly. If I sell a coffee table should the original manufacturers get profit from it? This is a bad business model.

As for parts, there are many third party manufacturers and third party refurbishers to allow many options for a part for a car.

We simply need a straight forward answer from Sony and MS. MS has already

Is it sad that that's the most exciting element of the X1 for me? I really enjoy the controller design. I think that's the most exciting thing for the PS4 and X1 is the controllers.

I am expecting them to cost thought, much like the system. If a current X360 is 400 dollars with a 250gb hd and kinect... I am scared to

Corgis were used as herd dogs for Sheep and Cattle, so they are tough little buggers. Also there is lore they were the war mounts of fairies in Wales.

BTW, I have a Corgi and he's a tough little cuddle bear that can turn into a wolverine if he gets mad. He bosses all the bigger dogs around.

They look amazing. Think I will stick with my OCR'd PDF's of my old 2nd Edition and 2nd Edition Players Options books which are in storage.

Where is the touch pad so I don't have to wave my arms like a freak?

Really? I love the 360 controller with it's bajillion foot cord just in case I let the battery die.

AAs? What is this the Wii?

Rather play Caw of Doody on my PC anyway. I think it's time I built a second gaming TV for the living room. Wii U, PS4, Xbox One... this gen seems to be getting off to a bad start.

Realizing that after the PS4 and XOne reveals that the 360 and PS3 will be the last gaming consoles will probably be the last I buy. #XboxMemories

Well, a lot of lower income families (the fastest growing class in the world atm) primarily access the internet through cellular providers.

Also a lot servicemen deployed have the joys of gaming, but can't get standard open internet access and if they do it's limited to specific protocols such as email and maybe Skype

Guess it's time for me to take them money I was saving for the new consoles and set it aside for PC upgrades...

I feel like it's the early 80s again but this time Valve is the new Nintendo?

Old fashion Pen & Paper vs. Digital. Nice to see.
