Well, not sure about the ratio but 4/5 of the hardcore to casual players are female in this article. Not sure if this is a clear representation of the book or even the amount of players who go from hardcore to casual or it was just a coincidental selection of interviews for this write up.

What made Ao2 work well for me was the Aggro system worked pretty smoothly. It was nice to see them take a common MMO concept of threat generation and add it to a shooter.

When playing with my nephew I would fire a few rounds and enter overkill mode with ease. It always made his day because he could stealth around and just break peoples necks.
