sure - I wouldnt consider a city that is 1.5 hours away in traffic to be “southbay.” I think SC is looking to control another population with that enforcement/laws.

Its also legal to live in one on the streets in many cities around the SouthBay as long as you move it every few days (if only a few feet).

However, I bet you find them parked in their parking lots or streets surrounding the campus. There are 3-4 parked beside the campus of the company I work for in SouthBay.

... in the tech industry - salaries between Austin and California are very close. Many companies are 10% delta - the one I work for is even. Beyond that, most big companies have locations in ALL the tech centers... including google.

The largest issue I have with this particular vehicle isnt really the price - it would be the nervousness of dependability... dependability these trucks are known for tossed out the window with a rather unconventional engine swap. if you’re going that route - the fire streaming off older twin engine bikes (honda vtr or ducati superbikes)... particularly the placement of the radiators on the honda were atrocious. Miles (pun) worse than 600cc bikes.

.... just about every product out there that is benchmarked does similar stuff. The computer you’re working on has tons of electronics in it specially to target very specific benchmarks that in no way will give you more performance in real life nor will the phone give you the battery life claimed. Etc.

the lesson I learned from this post: dont drink and drive and you wont have to pay 5-10k. problem solved. ;)
