I mean, as someone who heard about the game when it was announced, saw the first trailer / teaser or two, and then didn’t really follow it... I expected it to basically be just a fun game about navigating interesting spaces as a cat and nothing else, and I was surprised that it veers wildly away from that.

Compared to what Sony showed during their presentation I would say Microsoft came out on top. Granted not everyone is going to enjoy every game shown of course. My personal favorites were Arc 2, Starfield, and Persona collection if only because it means a PC release.

It’s amazing how bad the show looks just from the trailer. But as a capper, the Batman mask they showed off look so, so damn cheap.
