Well, there are about 40K Franco-Manitobans and Canada itself is a bilingual country. Why should official documents be written in a single language while it’s quite easy to have both?

Early 2000s Mazdas are nothing else but piles of rust up here now. Other makes fare slightly better but if whatever the car, if it’s nearing 10 years of (ab)use, rust has most likely perforated multiple parts of the body.

I’m still way above water with premiums between 700$ and 900$ less expensive than the theoretical cheapest premium in this article.

The SAAQ is entirely funded by our yearly driver’s licence fees (about 80 CAD) and licence plate fees (about 230 CAD).

Pretty much the same for me, my premiums have hovered between 400 and 600 for each of my two cars since their purchase. I can’t believe people keep complaining about the SAAQ and their no-fault policy.

Charlevoix was so awesome! Great memories of attending one of, if not the last edition as a young teenager.

He’d probably be in trouble for the things he’d be doing with it, though.

Hope there’s no people who experienced WW2 in Great Britain living near you, these seriously loud engines may give them some flashbacks!

As a Canadian, I can tell you : when it comes to building stuff, it’s mostly still imperial. Don’t ask me what a 2x4x8/10/12 is in metric, I don’t have a single idea!

That “fancy digital setup” is what every decent place is running now!

Did it spit fire? #birdsandwarbirds

You don’t pay to get in, but it’s a charge that’s added to every bill. I’ve seen that in Italy but not really in France or Germany. Sometimes, there’s no “real” cover but if you touch the bread that’s waiting for you on the table, you’re paying.

Still sounds better than a 2017 F1 car.

Sometimes - when someone thinks of things like this - I love the Internet.

We have this restaurant at a T interesection that gets hit on average once every two years. They’ve modified the curve leading to the intersection, added a huge flashing sign warning of the curve and subsequent intersection, nothing changes. After this big one in the spring of 2016 (picture under), the restaurant was

I used a couple IFVs while expanding my fixed defenses. The IFVs were too vulnerable, IMO.

My Prism tower/Patriot combo was always very effective against their ground and air targets. Using too few of them?

Thank you for making me miss my G8! ;)

I drive my parent’s 58' Chevy Bel-Air from time to time. By now, I’m sure you have all seen the modern crash test video for this car, and then you know how dead I am if I ever get into a major crash!

I thought I’d be early enough for the scat joke but you beat me to it. Damn you!
