not games, but I was denied buying beer for my 60 year old dad, because he didn’t have HIS ID on him.
exactly, I blame the gamergate crowd for sarkeesian getting any of the attention she got. Kotaku hadn’t helped much either in that regard. but if it weren’t for gamergate, they may have stuck with just one article, instead of what felt like daily articles telling us how she was the next messiah.
same here
I’ve been in locations in the Division I’ve seen in real life, like time’s square. so definatly agree, especially with the trash, abandoned cars and emergency vehicles, it feels like a real place, just one in a state of emergency. Most similar games just feel like a map made for a shooter game.
“EVER HAVE CRIPPLING CLAUSTROPHOBIA? WELL NOW THERE’S A GAME FOR YOU!”
boobs aside. the game itself looks like Toyblast with a motion comic inbetween puzzles, and somehow also involves elvis impersonators, and ghost/unicorn women? neitherone seem very noir-ish to me
yeah, sexism is bad, as is racism, any kind of bigotry is actually. but the ones legit trying to stop it get either drowned out, or made to look like assholes themselves by the offense patrol screaming over everyone.
has anyone even heard her do much recently? Sarkeesian was practically the media darling of Kotaku a few years back, with all the articles about her.
Marketing!
To give sites like Kotaku a reason to generate clicks.
Fallout 4 Far Harbor DLC, Phantom Pain, Deus Ex for PS4, and Bendy and the Ink Machine Chapter 3, and ESO for PC, (with rent, bills, insurance, kid 1, and now kid 2 on the way, i get into games when they’re cheaper, or free lately, so a little behind.)
true, in my case i just felt guilty never updating when I said, and rushed to get things done. no clue why, i think I had maybe 20 readers before I pulled the plug on it.
no lie, I used to do a webcomic years ago. When i was swamped with my paying job or classes, the comic’s jokes never change, it just ended up looking like something a 5 year old drew.
I mostly just see it on Kotaku, and don’t have as much time anymore to go through archives. the ones they showcase here half the time seem like something you’d have to have been a longtime reader to get usually.
Manly guys was actually a joke about a specific game for once, usually it’s so many in-jokes or long running gags about it’s own characters, I can’t always follow, but this time I understood it
And this is how Cars started, it was a different planet all along!
but what about all the microbiological life that may or may not, hypothetically, in someone’s thesis, be there? it’s not like Mars is a dead world or anything
here’s the important question, does Stan Lee make a cameo?
