You think you're tough but you're just a revolting person.
Assassin's Creed: All of Them
Everything about Assassin's Creed looks like a game I should love. The settings are gorgeous, I like the idea of free climbing everywhere, love the idea of being this sort of illuminati ninja, love open world games, love stealth games, love the historical details and information provided…
By the way. I read your post on Kinja only after writing up my prior response to you. Now that I read it, I guess we kind of agree.
I guess my level of jadedness is somewhere between you two guys. I wasn't so thoroughly shocked as you, but I did feel "something" during it, and it did make me somewhat uncomfortable.
I hated Uncharted 1 because of the bland and prolonged gunfighting, samey locations and mediocre puzzles. I absolutely loved Uncharted 2 and 3.
In my opinion, the best console lean so far has been Far Cry 3. It worked brilliantly, it was super simple and very useful. I ended up using it a lot, in fact I'd say it was pretty much essential to the game.
Dishonored's lean was so so. Better than the sporadic previous attempts at leaning on consoles, but still far…
I'm sure it will be well done. I'm sure it will have a decent self contained story in and of itself.
In fact, the more I think about it, the more it pisses me off.
I am EXTREMELY disappointed by this announcement.
Not only is this prequel's ending spoiled by the game we already played (and loved) but it also ends up negating some of Ellie's basic character arc points in The Last Of Us: why is Ellie so shocked by having to take someone's life to save Joel if she's already killed…
If my memory does not betray me, Totilo loved AC3 and Hamilton hated it.
I'm really glad you went with a Hamilton review for 4. Totilo is a great reviewer, but as someone who has lost faith in the AC franchise, I simply wouldn't have been able to trust his opinion on this particular game.
Yep, and while the production values were nowhere near Rockstar's and thus the pedestrians and the city itself were nowhere near as believable as even GTA IV (which had come out at least a few years earlier), I still was very interested in exploring Hong Kong and eating pork buns because it was beautiful and exotic.…
In Liberty City it was a combination of technology and artistry. The visual step up was significant. Liberty City was dense with detail. Niko’s stooped posture, the trash littering the streets, the massive leap in technology combined with the intricacy of the art made GTA IV special. I wanted to be there. Being in…
You can understand the message and still think it's a poor way of delivering said message.
Just picture this reply by me to you, in an envelope made out of poorly tanned seal-skin, rancid, soiled in human feces, delivered to your doorstep. Do you really want to open it?
Totally agree.
GTA IV had less variety of cars (maybe there was a larger number of them than in previous games, but they were all semi-identical sedans and SUVs that drove very much alike each other), a more boring city layout (mostly flat), boring missions (drive here, get involved in a shootout, drive there), a…
You are dumb. Seriously, try to better yourself.
Will check it out. I'll report back on this thread when I get around to it.
I haven't watched much Anime, and I'm turned off by certain aspects present in a majority of anime. Same goes for Manga.
That said, I did enjoy Akira, the film too but especially the American release of the Manga in full colour. Awesome stuff.
Oh don't get me wrong, The Devil's Rejects is definitely an AMAZING movie and I enjoyed it a lot, and I respect the fact that that scene managed to actually bother me, and the fact that I still managed to like the Firefly family despite them doing such absolutely horrible and irredeemable things. I'm glad the film…
