PROTIP do passenger missions get a ship that can fit an economy cabin. Grind up to a mid ship. You can do this in about a week sparsely playing. Get midship outfit it or get it up to 30 ly. You just got to commit to the money grind and once you are able to get a ship that can jump 30 ly? You can make a ton of money in an hour 10million+ every 15 mins depending on your set up.
