So you can get pissed at the earbuds included with the device and go out and spend $50 on a pair that fits.

You kind of missed the point.
I think the 'binary view' the author is talking about is in regards to the fact that success = fun and failure = not fun. I think the author has a good point in posing the question, 'How can we make losing more fun?', and then introduces several games where success = fun and failure = fun as well.
Because, as we all know, video games are about exactly copying "harsh reality". That makes them so much fun!
Actually I didn't.
I HAVE A CRIPPLING PHOBIA OF FLESH-EATING FUNGUS
If someone used your likeness without your permission for commercial reasons I think it's pretty valid to be upset about it.
That's bullshit, the key factor was "KLM pilot took off without takeoff clearance". Yeah they're was a squeal, but that doesn't have anything to do with breaking a cardinal rule of air traffic, if you didn't ACTUALLY HEAR your call sign with a takeoff clearance, YOU DON'T TAKEOFF, you clarify that the takeoff…
Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
To me, there's a grand distinction between true mind-controlled games and impulse-controlled games.
I really wish the Dreamcast was better built because its optics are known to completely fail after 5 or 6 years of its lifespan. It's one of the few consoles that I think needs a proper mechanical fix from an electronic professional, not just a swap for a new one.
Here's how the "sharing with ten people" thing would have worked in practice...
Haaaaaa haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
Ugh. 'Roguelike' is not an adjective or a shorthand for randomization and permadeath thrown into genres that aren't roguelikes. A first-person shooter that incorporates elements from roguelikes is still a first-person shooter. So is a dual-joystick shooter, and a platformer, and a spaceship combat game, and anything…
except thats bs. In the real world, you see peoples skin color all day, every day. Why can't a game reflect real life?
>unfair enemies
That's pretty sweet. Now blow me some more and let us mod the console versions as well. I mean blow my mind.....
I just don't suffer stupid people easily. Or trolls. You're both. Any mention of Earthbound immediately brings up how steeped in nostalgia it is. Want to take a wild fucking guess why you don't "get it"?
You shouldn't care about Earthbound. You, as a useless fucking Internet troll, don't deserve it.
