Hello sailor!

A 360 isn't a sub-4 second car. zeroto60times.com has it at 3.8 but most other sources including Wikipedia and the usual magazines have it in the mid 4s.

(Shrug) The Boxster's performance envelope is a good match for the 360's, it's arguably better looking, and last but not least, it's under warranty.

Surprisingly the 981's wheelbase is longer than the 991's.

There's a reason why Ferdinand wanted to build a people's car.

The thing is, if you want a mid-engine roadster, the only thing arguably better is a Ferrari 458 at more than 2x the price.

Probably somewhere around the Boxster S's 315 HP. When I test-drove the base Boxster with PDK it felt sluggish unless I really stomped on it. The 'S' I eventually bought could use more power — a LOT more power — but it can certainly get out of its own way.

I did.
