If cramped back seats are a requirement then the new Camaro ZL1 is faster in almost every aspect and little more than half the price. And the ZL1 has far better driving dynamics as well.
Regardless of your or my opinion on segments, the fact is that the money in the market is shopping GTR, Z06, 911, NSX, Hellcat, Cayman, GT350, etc. That’s what they have to compete with. They don’t all fit the same niche but real buyers don’t buy cars by looking at a spreadsheet.

I’m going to go on record with this. I didn’t mind the ‘original’ American incarnation, once they’d gotten rid of the stupid studio segments (which are shit in the UK version too by the way) I thought it was a great way to spend an hour.
I don’t have kids, but having a two-door anything for normal use is a pain. Back seats can be useful for throwing things into. Doors make them easy to access. :)
I am so sick of the non-changing STi.... that motor would be in middle school... The gas mileage is on par with a V8... The weight has gotten out of hand... We have no hatch back.... and the WRX is arguably a better car....
