Wait, did you just say this is an attractive car? In what galaxy? I know Mazda is like the darling of auto journo outlets and all, but this thing is pretty ugly. Interior is lovely, but the doors are stupid, and this design language does not translate to a more rugged/utilitarian/boxy look at all. Also, their refusal

You’re going to lose either direction you go here.

Barrels will absolutely still impart flavor and influence well after the first use. So long as the contents are given enough time. As perfect examples-

Outward visibility- especially forwards- and seating position are easily among the very, very highest priorities for me in a vehicle. Especially one with any kind of sporting pretensions. It’s why McLarens are my favorite sports/super cars to drive. The seating position and view out is is just dead perfect for me.

Though I don’t watch NASCAR very often, I wanted to see this. Ended up missing it. How was the race?

I sell these cars- Lambos, Ferraris, etc, down to mid level sports/luxury cars- and trust me when I say basically nobody is cross shopping any Lamborghini with any Corvette. The average Lambo buyer doesn’t know the first thing about motorsports or track driving. They buy Lambo’s for the statement they make, and the

I don’t know or care what she thinks, all I know is she is insanely hot. Shame her music isn’t any good anymore, though.

This is cool and all, but I’ll take a few year old Flying Spur, S63, new S8, or really just about anything else for that coin. Props to them for even doing it, though.

Those are a particularly bad bunch to judge by. Though I am not fans of either, I am not sure the WRX and Vette belong on the list. That said, though I haven’t driven a ZR-1, a C4 Corvette is a particularly raw and basic car to judge others against. I would challenge someone to say with real conviction that a McLaren

Would love to hear the list of current sports and super cars you have driven to have arrived at this conclusion. Because it is definitely not true for probably half or better.

Although I have driven the car several times, and am not a huge fan, I completely agree with this piece, and I have been saying it from day one. This car took hypercar hybrid performance ware and tech and brought it down to price levels a 1/4-1/5 of those cars’ prices.

Cool cars and all, but 80K+?? Yeah, no. If I want something older and cool for kicks, give me a 996/997 GT3 or 6MT 360 Modena for that money all day.

So what?

Uhm, this is the easiest answer ever. A6 Allroad. Everything you loved about your A6, just more of it. More tech, more space, more power, newer and therefore less common (for now, at least).

I used to work at a dealer that sold a lot of highline sports and luxury cars. We got one of these traded in; V12, Volante, except it was an automatic car. I spent over a week dailying the thing and making a list of all the little issues that needed fixing. And it was a lot.

Looks awesome, and love that N/A V12, but this seems like mostly a cash grab. The ‘hybrid’ system is not really contributing much to the power output, and they could probably obtain this power level w/ the V12 alone. Especially at a 3+ mil price tag. This should have been a minimum 900-1,000 hp car, especially if the

Looks flipping incredible with the visual changes.

Idk, there is Chiron (and Veyron) owner who frequents some of the bigger car events around me, and he’s a pretty good dude. Not arrogant, easily approached, and happy to talk about his cars. Looks and acts like regular guy.
