Though there is a time and place for American style tacos (I make and enjoy them myself from time to time), they are definitely a solid two rungs down from traditional Mexican street tacos, which are inarguably the zenith. I would say after that come what I like to call the ‘designer tacos’. The kinds you see at

Oh, there are still some DCT’s out there that are not well-mannered in slow, and stop-go traffic. This just isn’t one of them. I once had to spend an entire with an M4 GTS however (long story), and it was torture. I couldn’t wait to get out of it. The gearbox was so jerky it makes you look a 15 yr old that stole a

I drove a 570S and a 458 Italia back to back on public roads. The McLaren was leagues easier and more enjoyable to drive. Aside from sound, just generally all-around embarrassed the Italian.

There was a time when I thought this, and though it certainly applies to some car (the 458 comes to mind), the McLaren 570S (and so I suspect this car, as well) is a blast on the street. It is still loads of fun at lower speeds, and it’s very easy to drive. It makes 600hp feel as reasonable as the 200hp hat comes in a

140K on a Ford GT.......that is incredible. Kudos to him for driving the hell out of it.

I’ve driven several McLarens in heavy traffic. No trouble or ill behavior at all.

Largely agreed. If your living situation precludes the use of such a car, would you even have it in the first place?

This may be a totally fair assessment given your use in your location, but I (and I will admit- based on experience in a 570, not 600) disagree with much of it.

Probably the closest I had to ‘heroes’ that didn’t measure up-

Damn, what a shame. The Alltrack is an absolutely fantastic and terribly overlooked car.

It’s almost like largely abandoning their fanbase was a mistake, or something....

The current A6 is a fantastic car, and the 3.0T V6 that powers it is very strong. The 2.0T will propel this car just fine, the same way it did with the outgoing A6 2.0T.

If you think Camrys, Maximas, or Impalas even in V6 form are smoking ANY of the German 2.0T offerings, it is painfully clear you have never driven them. They are deceptively quick.

Except they haven’t had any real parts commonality, let alone chassis sharing, in over a decade.

Because you’re wrong about the GS being quicker and the A6 has considerably more rear seat room, a modern infotainment system and tech, a far superior AWD system, more elegant styling and higher comfort and refinement levels?

I totally agree. I’ve driven numerous of the 570's rivals, and not all of them are enjoyable to drive on public roads. The 458 is a perfect example. Jumpy throttle, nervous steering, an awkward driving position (for me) conspire against it. The 570 on the the other hand is still loads of fun on the street. There is a

McLaren 570S Spider all the way.

Lol, you’re crazy. Those vehicles you listed are the textbook examples of crap quality materials and fit/finish. You are seriously just full of shit and lying.

I was 11 in 1998, and that was my first exposure to sportscar racing. I vividly remember watching the 911 GT1, CLK LM, and GT-Ones duke it out. The 911 GT1 single handedly made me fall in love with endurance racing. Those impossibly slinky curves draped in that wild paint scheme......just perfection.

I just wanna know if the now standard variable steering kills it.
