Suggestions 1, 2, and 4 are all great.

NP, and always NP within reason because I don’t care I love these things.
Yeah, no. This is way, waaaayyyyyy, WAY too broad of a blanket statement to have any merit. 300hp in a large heavy lux sedan is not enough. It’s not enough in a muscle/pony car. It’s not enough in any SUV/CUV larger than a Forester or Equinox. It’s not enough in a GT.

I remember watching these cars race on TV as a kid. Along with the other nuts open-top racers of the era- Riley Scotts, Lolas, Panoz’s, etc. Great racing era.
I would love to track my car, but lack of proximity to a road course prevents that. If it were something I could take part in, I’d absolutely do so, and it’s very possible it would have affected my buying decision. But as it stands, it was pretty much a non-factor.
Availability of the R was virtually nil when I bought my GTI, but today, I don’t feel like I lost out. The R’s extra power, AWD, and rarity are great, but the GTI’s higher agility, feedback, and fun factor win out for me. I may do an R or CPO RS3 next time around just for something slightly different, but at this…
Preface- I own a Mk7 GTI, and bought it after driving the Cooper S, Fo/FiST, WRX/STI, and RWD coupes. I’ve also driven the Golf R extensively, every gen Civic Si up to the current car, and the new Focus RS. Have not driven the new Type R.
Just difficult/hairy situations/individuals. For instance, a perfect example I had this week-
I’ve been in the car business for 7.5 years now, and it’s definitely true that there is more stuff happening online than ever. I remember hand writing credit apps and numerous other forms when I first got in the business. Now, I type it all into a screen, and along with my vehicle’s stock number and the trade…
I haven’t driven a ZL1 1LE, no. But I’ve driven the standard car. And the 1LE is no more powerful or quicker. It imolates it’s rear tires just like a Z06 or Hellcat is prone to do. It has nowhere near the deployability of power as the TT RS.
Yeah, except the TT RS can be driven year round and across country in total comfort. Of course you replicate it’s speed for less. You can always do that with anything. That’s not the point.
Well, unless you and he have both driven the cars in question like I have, you can kindly piss off. ;)
And you’d have a cheap, shitty-ass Lancer Evo. Which would get murdered by Fox Body Mustang with a 7 grand in it. Which would get murdered by a 7 year old liter bike. Who the hell cares?
* In your opinion
No, I’m not on crack. Can you fucking read??
Nope. Unless it’s an MR with the dual-clutch, forget it. And it would pretty much need a tune and full bolt-ons. And it’d still have its hands full.
TT RS’s are hard to come buy, but you can get the RS3 at MSRP or even discounted all day.
I don’t own one, so there’s no need in endangering pedestrians to travel to my location.
Lol, just wait until you get a go at a tuned RS3 or TT RS. These new MQB cars are an incredible tuning platform.
