Brilliant package, the Sport is. It is the perfect Mk7 GTI. All the stuff I wanted except for the KESSY, and nothing I didn’t. If the Sport was out when I bought my SE- it’s a ‘16- I would have bought it instead. I actually thought about trading in for one since it’s a one-year-only model and it’s the perfect combo…

The funny thing is, I could have stepped up to a Red Autobahn with everything I wanted, but I thought Tornado Red would be super common. Now, I never see red ones. The blue and whites are pretty rare where I am, too. I see a million other grey and black ones. Oh, well.

I sacrificed color to get my Mk7 GTI with the equipment I wanted. I wanted a DSG trans SE model and the Performance Pkg was a deal breaker. I had to pass on the Night Blue and Tornado Red that were my first choices and get Carbon Steel Grey. Almost 2 years on, the color has really grown on me, and I like it now.

It’s only insulting to people who have no means or desire to buy one on the first place. There are people who have been waiting for these to come back available to pay MSRP for them.
