Already bought the PC version when it was in the Steam sale. I'd like to get my money back for the PS3 version though. Who did you contact to get that?

Will that get me my £35 back and the 100 or so hours I put into the game before it started running like what it would look like on a potato?
Ah, I got confused there. As for your original question, because of it's name. I know it's better than Oblivion leveling wise but so much of the game seems dumbed down in comparison with the older games. Everyone who didn't get it on the PS3 just smiles and nods, not knowing next time they mess up a game on their…
For it's mechanic and for being quite different with it's pawn system. A lot of good new ideas were tested with this game, which will probably go into Monster Hunter 4. I said more about it in another reply.
I did find traveling sort of time consuming but there's a lot of shortcuts that open up later in the game, making it not as bad. I loved the end game in it as one of it's strong points, just as I thought things were getting too easy, suddenly so much harder. Some quests did require one to go back to the same places,…
Which is any article that features it. Why all the dislike of many people's game of the year so far?
I agree, at least Dragon's Dogma is reliable. I feel so cheated with Skyrim and get so annoyed when it's constantly praised. Yet Kotaku has been very vocal with their dislike of Dragon's Dogma which is a better game, in my opinion.
Do you have any games that don't involve bugging others and posting gift requests and wall posts to others. I'd love a Facebook game without that and with the only microtransactions being to regain energy/progress bar points. Money could be made via advertising in game I guess. I'd rather be advertised to than have to…
You could care less? Meaning you do care about it a bit.
I'll add to this, I've been really ill since I was 12 and been in and out of hospital so much. When I'm in there and really ill, I never feel up to playing a game. I think it's the mind more focused on worrying than trying to complete whatever task was in the game. Sure, I do try to play but I put so little effort…
Yeah it's probably best to wait to come back a month before the new Expansion comes out, that way you have time to level up, do some quests and get some decent gear to explore the new areas. A lot of the older areas now have level 90+ mobs around, they are quite far in though.
I didn't make a full time job out of it at first. I played about 8 hours a day at weekends and 3-4 hours a day on weekdays due to school at the time. Even then it only took about a week and a bit to get to level 30, it depends how you play. One can level up solo while seeking instead of just waiting around too.
No more so than any other MMO of the time, not to mention since the abyssea content it's been a lot more casual friendly having events people can do in 2 hours or less.
I'm so tempted to try that too heh, just to see how quick it could be done in now. It really does have the best job/class system out of all the FF games. I'm so happy to see that SE is making that new expansion.
It doesn't take weeks and weeks to get to level 50 now, nor did it back before Abyssea either. A week at the very most if you played 5-8 hours a day. Which is reasonable when just starting an MMO. Now however, you could probably get to level 99 from just starting in a week, that includes time to get some…
Have to agree with this. It seems like the main crowd mentality is basing their opinions of FF11 on playing the game till level 10-20 when it first came out for the PC (2003) or the 360 (2005).
Sorry I know you weren't bashing Sakaguchi but noticed lots of other people were. In hindsight I should have replied to one of those instead. I love the guy's work and hoping that he'll continue to make games with Mistwalker.
Have to say, that was the best thing I've ever read on Kotaku. I salute you good sir.
What's with all the other comments saying bad things about Sakaguchi. Are you all basing your comments like "A shadow of his former self" of the one mediocre game he released for the Wii recently "The Last Story"?.
They already have put Pokemon Rumble Blast and the 3D Pokedex thing on the 3DS. I think that there's another Pokedex coming out too with all 5 generations of Pokemon, as well as some augmented reality thing.
