I use corn for lots of recipes, cut straight off the cob, so I have to shuck it.

She looks different in all of the pictures. And jeez, she's an illustration, not a photograph. Personally I adore her.

I'm young and looking for work right now, too. It's going to be okay. The economy can't stay like this forever, right? It sounds like you are on the right track since you keep getting interviews, you just need to keep at it. Good luck!

Whoa, tone it down a notch with the all caps. It does suck that we don't get more foreign films here, but there are still plenty of ways to see them. I live in a university town, and the university screens foreign films all the time for the community, either free or sometimes for $5. If that's not an option, look

Woops, he. I didn't notice Doug wrote this one.

My guess is she meant to say in 2013 the numbers dropped from where they were in 2012.

Thanks for the tip. I would love to get a new car, I just have to see what my boyfriend thinks and what we can find at the local dealerships. We're really scared of having monthly payments because we already have a lot of credit card debt.

I agree, keep them. I have always kept my old stuff like that. Cards from the guy who broke my heart, notes from boys in high school, love letters from a boyfriend of mine who died- and I've been with the same partner for six years now. It's okay. Put 'em in a box, and just let 'em sit. You might enjoy looking at them

I went to a public school that was really good at most things - but not math. I never had a good teacher, and it never really clicked for me. So even as an adult I try to avoid math as much as possible.

Thanks! Yeah, we decided it will definitely be worth it to have a mechanic check out whichever car we think we will go with.

Wow, thanks for the tip! Yeah, we definitely can't afford to get something that's going to need a lot of constant work.

We really just need something reliable that we can use to commute to work. So we were thinking maybe a 2000-something Honda Civic, or a Toyota Camry, maybe a Prius if we can find one that's cheap enough.

It is going to be okay :) I've moved by myself and lived on my own three times before, once in a different country. Every time I was nervous before I got there, and I usually feel like "Oh crap, what am I doing?" for the first night or two. But it gets better, especially as you get to know the new area and make new

I'm in the middle of a major life change right now and all the stress is killing me - the boyfriend and I have decided to move to a new town as we have only three weeks left on our lease. There just wasn't a lot of opportunity for us in our small town so we are looking for new jobs and an apartment in our state's

Maybe it's just me but I would never buy H&M clothes online. Every time I go to the one in my state, I see something cute, and then pick it up and feel the fabric, which is usually weird/unpleasant. Like it feels too stiff or thin or plastic-y. Every now and then I'll find something that's okay, but you really have to

I realize this is a way late reply, but this is info you need in your life. When you reheat, add a splash of milk and a pinch of flour, and stir the heck out of it. Makes it all better.

Thank you for the advice! I have worked as a freelance writer in the past, but I wasn't sure if anyone in PR would want to hire me without a BA in Communications. I just joined my university's alumni network, and it turns out there are a few people in PR who are listed as being willing to meet with young

I noticed that my zombie dreams have coincided with really boring periods in my life. Like, the daily routine is so dull that I use my dreams just to get a little adventure. When I get busy again or try new things, the zombie/apocalypse nightmares tend to stop. Maybe try a new hobby?

Oh, wow. I have kitten dreams like that, too!! They are really alarming. My last one involved me walking past the linen closet in my apartment and noticing a kitten on the top shelf. Then I turned around and the floor was littered with tiny kittens. They're usually the same size as newborn kittens, but they're cuter

Oh, man. A couple of months ago I had a really realistic dream about being the new companion. It was amazing, one of the most enjoyable dreams I've ever had. And then I woke up and I was so disappointed. It still stings.
