I was in traffic coming to Queens. A coworker on the LIRR said everyone’s phones alerted at the same time. That would have terrified me.

I used to live a 1/4 of a mile in Chelsea where the bomb was detonated and have friends who live with their young daughter 2 blocks from where the bomb went off---all the pictures fell off their walls and glass shattered everywhere…

Whenever there is an attack, I always “hope” (probably not the best word here, but it’ll have to do) the suspect will be white and not have an Islamic-sounding name. Damnit. As if we needed more fodder for islamophobia.

I got the alert on my phone today while pulling into Penn Station. I get it, I think its a good idea, but man it is scary when everyone’s phone starts screeching at 8AM on a packed train.

If this is the best foreign terrorists have got, I am not even remotely in terror of them. All the people injured in Chelsea are already out of the hospital. None of the people stabbed in Minnesota died. Nobody was hurt with their unexploded bombs.

Personally, I think eventually it’ll come out that JoePa was also a child rapist. Otherwise, I don’t know how anyone can not only turn a blind eye but refuse to punish the perpetrator.

I think the death penalty is completely appropriate to give now—not because of Joe or Sandusky—but because of the PSU fans.
