Was going to get my mags than I thought, “this is the internet”. Gave a quick search for 1997 pc games. You surely have a different recollection of your games. They look the same as PS1/N64 titles with just a little cleaner look as I said before. If this was comparing PS1 titles to a PS2/3 title than yeah...wow PC…

Didn’t game on a PC back than, but I did collect PC gaming magazines...which I still have from around 1995-1998. The graphics were comparable to the N64 and PS1. They make look more clean sometimes, but still looked just the same. Maybe like a PS1.5? Its not like the PC was pumping PS3 graphics in 1997.

Seems I’m almost done with Tales of Xillia...so if I finish during the weekend I’ll probably start part 2 or start Sleeping Dogs. So many games untouched on my PS3 ha!

Yeah but we’re talking as if it was back than. When I remember those days ,like standing in front of the waterfall in Mario 64, it was like, “omg this looks so great”. Yes....if you look at it now it will look so outdated and depending on the game...awful. But this was the jump from 2D everything to 3D everything.…

Seems I am remembing it wrong..it is around 12 years old. I remember knowing about the whole alien thing veyer later on ...but I still see the whole alien aspect as kind of a spoiler with all the things that is revealed later on.

I won’t go on and say which one is better haha. I’m one of those who buys all the systems if possible. For me the PS1 was a great place for rpg’s like Chrono Cross, all those Final Fantasy games, Gran Turismo (which changed every racing game after it) and fighting games (I tend to love the 2D ones more). I’m the same. I can’t let go of any system or games (especially if you gave 60 dollars for it and get 3 dollars back...losing 57 dollars) because I love collecting.

Really now? If I recall the one with the pixelated graphics was the PS1 and the smooth graphics the N64. Hell I still remember the first time I saw Mario 64. My jaws dropped.

The aliens part is not a spoiler? You don’t even find out they’re aliens in the anime or live-action series (because they didn’t know at the time). Its only way after that you find out what’s really going on.

Enjoyed the manga...though reading another spin-off that came out now and kind of enjoyed the live-action movies. They had to take liberties with the ending of course. Now....I did not enjoy the anime at all.

Agree with the last part ha...I went into the dark zone with 2 more friends and we were ganked by rogues who killed us just as soon as we noticed them. We went back out and were killed just as quickly. Not fun at all. Thats when we said,”ok that’s good for today...signing off”. Ha!

I’m never one to take reviews to heart...I usually read all of them to have different opinions, but after P.N. 03 (which was given a poor score everywhere) I learned it’s best to try out a game yourself. I loved P.N.03 ha!
