No different than major points being ruined by book fans. I love my spoilers, but I actively avoid GoT ones and some folks just love trying to ruining that Just because the material is available in different format doesn't mean I have to consume it first

I, for one, can't wait until the GoT series surpasses the books. As a 'show first' fan, I'm right sick of stumbling on spoilers from book fans. The tables will turn, my friend.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but female rank was decided by how large their tits were, right?

Damn Game of Thrones spoilers... I thought to myself.. 'oh, it's a rumor that turns out isn't true, it's been debunked all ready, so maybe I'll just see what it says'. but nooo, of course there's a legit spoiler tucked away in a simple little paragraph.

Super glad they went with the classic opening instead of the new one.

with how little we see of vision in all these trailers and promo images, I'm thinking he's got a huge role to play in the third act that they're trying to contain.

Well, it's his moral certainty that is causing him to go rouge, really. That's what makes it sound so interesting.

Little wooden boy Jaden Smith can play Sloth

It's my understanding that VHS will never depreciate in value, so you're really handing out a free money there. What can I do to earn Dan points and begin cashing them in for some VHS money?

I thought Scarlet Witch just got the hand-me-downs from the Olson Twins line of clothes.

The old rumor was that every season was to follow a different set of Heroes with newly emerging powers, but fans grew attached to the cast, Sylar in particular (for some damn reason) as he was only meant to be in the first season. That, along with the writers strike really put the show on an infinite loop where

See, your problem is that you're just too old. You must have grown up in that faintly optimistic 80's era. I grew up in the 'everything sucks' 90's era, which, oddly enough, doesn't make me nearly as cynical as the 'nothing at all is good' 00's era kids, which is predominately the audience on this site. Just a bunch

And of course, if they did ape Marvel, all the fanboys would cry 'copycat' on them.

Nevermind that Harrison Ford all ready played young Harrison Ford in the original movies.. so it's not like casting young Obi Wan or Anakin.

I by no means want to support your defense of Avatar, since I kind of agree it made more of a small splash as far cultural relevance, but I think most people would agree that Terminator 2 made a much greater impact than the first Terminator. No one parodies or really quotes the first one. That being said, Avatar could

I'm definitely one of those 'over it after a year' people with Avatar, but I think the hitch here is that these movies are marketed to the 'general audience', not the sci fi community. If the Star Wars prequels, or any of the dozens of reboots that have come out in the last decade or so have taught us it's that name

even though season 5 was significantly better than 4, I kind of feel like the concept of the show is broken by this point and would rather see something new from Harmon and co. I'm afraid they hit the Futurama snag, where the show changed after cancelation and turned into a cheap imitation of its former self.

aw man, now I wanna marathon the wire again

It's the eyebrows. Nothing turns me off more when someone is dyed blonde but their eyebrows are still brown.
