I'd think Ceaser with the camcorder is the 'big' scene you're looking for. This film takes place quite a while after the events of the first one so I expect they'll handle that bit with exposition. I didn't mind Franco in the first film, but I'm glad he's not in this one, the guy from the Wire that Ceaser is mind

I think what he meant to say was he didn't want to be Avenger 2's new Hawkeye.

I like how allowing him to breathe is secondary, like an after thought.

Really, you don't like E. Nygma? How much more clever does it need to get?!?

That's a pretty good guess, even if it is out of character for the preacher, but they're so far from the source material that anything is possible. Wasn't it a hearse that was driving away too? Either way, it seems very likely that whoever took Beth is going to be a recurring character, so a casting announcement like

They've had two different actors that I've recognized from Band of Brothers too. Maybe they've got an in with whoever does casting over at HBO or something like that.

Aw man, don't argue against superheros getting flashy costumes in films, you want everyone in black leather like the first few X-Men movies? I totally think that some costumes, which are iconic and work fine in comics, look silly as shit on the big screen, but still. Fox's X-Men have the worst track record for

If he found it in a warehouse smokestack then that's what it was from, I thought it was before Kaine was introduced though, and I thought it came from the 70's run of comics and resurfaced when the Clone Saga started up in the 90's. Could be wrong there though.

Yeah, I remember reading that stuff, that was all towards the tail end. I seem to remember a whole bit where Peter found a skeleton with a Spider-man costume on it, all tattered up, and that was what sparked the whole thing to begin with. Cause wasn't the Jackal part of a clone story from years and years before the

Oh that's right, I forgot about Widow's mission being different than Capts. So yeah, that was implemented better than what the Rhino bit sounds like. If Rhino was in AS2 with no ulterior motives to future films then I'd be into it, though. Just as an aside to show that Spider-man has more than just a few bad guys. One

Well, a lot can change after a test screening, it's valuable feedback for the people making the movie I'm sure. As a consumer/moviegoer you just can't put a lot of credence into what the test audience said because it's not a finished product yet and who knows what these assholes understand about making movies.

And there's a very limited set of actual superhero powers so you can always say "character x is a y version of character z" if you try hard enough.

I didn't mind the gorilla-esque movements as much, but a lot of the best Hulk moments felt hand-keyed instead of motion captured, so some of his movements lacked subtleties and felt less like a performance to me. And as an animator I'm all for handkeyed animation, except in live action movies.

Oh great, someone who might be able to answer my question finally. I came in towards the tail end of the Clone Saga, tried to backtrack but only got more confused, especially by the whole 'skeleton with Spider-man's costume in the furnace' thing or whatever. I always assumed that the real real Parker was long dead and

Nope, Sony's grip on Spider-man is all encompassing. I think we're only getting Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch because they weren't specifically stipulated and they're not 'mutants' in Age of Ultron.

All of those Batmans had Bruce Wayne in it though. Even in Batman Beyond, Bruce was there helping Terry the entire time. So it's a little different. An Animated version of Miles is more likely, and Sony has TV rights too so there's no reason not to. Kids are a lot more forgiving of these sorts of things when it's

John McClane doesn't need any goddamn help, how dare you.

I haven't seen the second one yet, but I thought the Peter's parents stuff was tacked on in the first one and I've never once cared about what happened to his parents while I was reading the some 500 issues of Spider-man I have. It's a moot point, really, until you try to build your entire universe around one evil guy

I thought all of the prequel movies had terrible titles and were mostly nonsensical. Except maybe Attack of the Clones, which ironically is without a doubt the worst Star Wars movie ever made.

The purpose of a test screening is also to fix the things they can fix based on that audience's reaction though too. So a mixed reaction or even a bad reaction isn't necessarily a bad thing, assuming it wasn't based on something fundamental to the story or plot, or something that would require months of re-shoots. So
