When did I say it shouldn't?
I didn't really like Contagion They followed like five disconnected plots during some viral outbreak and I just didn't care about any of the characters.
Well what I mean is that you're all ready getting the Avengers on blu ray when you get the set, right? So with the free copy they sent you for the wait or whatever you'll end up having two. Did I misunderstand what they were doing?
That seems like poor compensation seeing as how you'll be getting that movie in the set. I guess you could sell it or something
I've never read World War Z, but I've read books like it, it's a format that works great in literature, and even on some TV shows, but it's a terrible structure for a movie. Contagion tried it and I really didn't think it worked. You just end up not caring about any of the characters because there are too many and too…
cute response.
*takes teeth out* them's fightin words!
Look how sensitive you are. What did I say there that you imagine would be so offensive to.. anyone? Does Tyler Perry not produce all black sitcoms? Maybe you missed the big T-Dog/Oscar meltdown that people had on io9. And now they announce casting for Tyresse, and people still complain. Besides, I'm fairly certain…
and this is on your assumption that I'm .. white?
SEE! even there, I slipped and said "replaced" instead of 'killed'. These forums are getting to me.
just a joke at this point. you must have missed the scandal here on io9 after the episode where T-Dog was replaced just before Oscar was introduced. It was drama worthy of reality tv
I've been over since before you were born, sonny.
Yeah, I was just saying this in the last TV recap about the Governor, and how it's more acceptable in comic books for an 'evil' character to just be outright evil and one dimensional. Not so much in TV and movies, so it's good they're thinking outside the original text.
some people are just never happy. Who are you Tyler Perry? You need an all black cast to be happy or what?
I imagine it's a lot like fine dinning for the kite-eating-tree. Sure it's overpriced, but it's more about the experience than anything.
The internet loves a pessimist...
I think it's a point to be made too that it's a lot more acceptable to make "evil" characters more one dimensional in comic books.
There are times when I wish I didn't know the storyarch from the comics, things like the phone call and the Governor's zombie daughter would have been a lot more interesting to see fresh in the show. So I'm glad they're diverging a bit on the details, it keeps me guessing a little. I think the Daryl/Merle characters…
turn back sarah..
