Alarmist articles about climate change suck. They're almost as bad as "everything is okay" articles about climate change. The science behind the study of climate change is just so new, and past information is poorly documented. There is no direct line that a person can draw from humans to any "climate change event".

poor Peedee...

Yeah, campy 60's Batman all the way

More gravity for what exactly? Whether it's 1/3rd earth's gravity or 1/6th, you're still going to have to work out regularly to avoid bone loss.

Am I the only one who thinks colonizing the moon makes way more sense than colonizing Mars?

I like to imagine there's some person sitting in a room somewhere coming up with random things that can 'vs. aliens'.

When I first saw the trailer for Hotel Transylvania I was a little worried about Tartakovsky's future projects, but if it leads to a Samurai Jack movie I guess I can just be patient.

Was speculated in a Morning Spoilers earlier this week

But what if their letdown over the series finale leads them to travel the distance to bully us into rewriting a more suitable ending? Ala the Omicronians in Futurama. I say, even if it leads to a mass human enslavement, at least we'd have a more rewarding end to the show.

So if Alpha Centauri is over 4 light years away, that means they're just now finding out how weird Lost really is. They're in for a crazy couple of season.

I agree, it doesn't have to be any sort of time travel thing. The virus will have simultaneously wiped out most of humanity and made all the apes on the planet smart, so they could come back only a few years later (weren't they going to Mars or am I making that up?) and see a very different Earth. Maybe city ruins and

There was a shuttle launch in the first movie. It was playing on a TV in the background at some point. I remember when I caught it a light went off in my head and I instantly started putting together what the sequel would be about.

because texting and animated billboards don't cause enough accidents?

I felt the same way about the endless ads for the Falling Skies season finale. I think the people they hire to edit promos shouldn't get the entire episode to play with.

Everything I've read and heard from interviews with the showrunner and cast say that it will be more chaotic and fast paced. They'll be at the prison for two seasons, which feels about right if you add in Woodbury time. There was way too much love triangle drama in season 2, especially in the first half of the season.

You're looking at the event from 50 years after. It's a part of our culture now, so it's hard to look back and think about what that event meant to people then. We flew numerous missions to the moon, and back then we didn't know what we'd find. What we were dealing with. How hard it would be. How much it would cost.

You'd be surprised how many "hoaxers" there are (there's enough that they have a term for them at least). Just look for moon landing footage on youtube and read the comments. Granted a lot of them are likely trolls, or completely ignorant. But kids these days.. it's cooler not to trust any information given to you by

The article says there are two new species and that they were surprised at how "similar" they are to modern arthropods. So they're not saying they're identical. Even if they were, evolution requires a change in environment, change in food supply, or a new predator is introduced or something. The way I see it, I don't

I've grown pretty sick of Tim Burton's movies, but these are really well designed mash-ups.
