I’ve been using Arc since Dec of last year. After using Chrome for over a decade, it took a week or so to get used to Arc, but now that I have I’ll never go back. I don’t even think I use all the features!

The split view is my biggest pro- it quickly allows me to split up my screen with web multiple apps or sites that

Almost literally the same mistakes, it was unreal to watch in real-time.

The most hilarious thing about Sony following-up a successful console with an overpriced bloated box that focused more on media than the games that made them successful is that Microsoft would make the exact same mistake 7 years later.

Umm. Generally speaking, if one supports a specific strike, one does not cross a picket line, even if one is not a member of the striking union. Indeed, many people won’t ever cross a picket line, full stop; this is generally true, for example, of us “workers’ rights” types on the left.

The idea is solidarity. As

You don’t have to be a member to offer support. Instead of using whatever influence they have to back the strikers, kardashian made the selfish choice because anything else would have been entirely out of character.

I knew this was going to be terrible the moment they announced they got Kevin Hart as Roland.

“I’m honestly hoping Twitter dies.”

The only thing corporations care about is money. Nothing else. Never expect a corporation to be loyal to you.

Not to give Mulvaney a hard time; I like her (as much as I can like anyone who calls herself an “influencer”, anyway). But expecting any corporation to behave morally and decently when it might impact profits is pretty risky, and expecting a public corporation to do so is utter fantasy. Boards of directors have only

Look forward to seeing two hours of Abed tiring to determine if he is in a revival or reunion or determining that the story was not good enough for theater release but would fit nicely with a streamer.

Our top story tonight: Piercinald Anastasia Hawthorne is still dead.

Stay classy, New AV Club.

This looks promising. Superman Returns and Man of Steel were such polar opposites, a slavish homage and a vapid attempt at deconstruction, respectively. Neither worked. Hopefully Gunn can move the property into the 21st century.

Wikipedia is currently putting its box office at $24.6 million.

So how did No Hard Feelings do? I see #4 but more context is needed. I’m hoping it does well enough just so we can break the “No one goes to see *insert non Comic Book Big Franchise movie* types of movies any more” feedback loop.

Quick note to anyone who may be on the fence about buying a ticket: “Asteroid City” is excellent. The unorthodox framing device may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but (with a few intentional moments) it doesn’t distract at all from the strength of the central story.

I know they had to double down on The Flash since it was in a “too big to fail” situation, but cancelling the Batgirl movie looks like an even dumber decision now, especially when you add in all the good buzz they would have gotten with Brendan Fraser’s recent Oscar win.

You know what could really help DC right now? A Batgirl movie. Why hasn’t anyone made one of those?

Feels like today’s Vulture article about how Phil Lord kept changing final & approved scenes over and over again leading to crazy crunch is probably worth adding to the discourse here: https://www.vulture.com/2023/06/spider-verse-animation-four-artists-on-making-the-sequel.html
