Umm... Close Encounters of the Third King ... I presume that was supposed to be “Kind” unless there’s another Spielberg movie I missed along the way?

Don’t you realize that it’s going to be cloudy that day in Buffalo? I live here and it’s cloudy for every single celestial event. Meteor shower? Cloudy. lunar eclipse? Cloudy. Comet? Cloudy.
So, hmm. If I extract the seeds from from a food grass, mechanically crush these using machinery, combine this with a non toxic inorganic crystal and animal protein derived from an animal source, then further mechanically process this material by aerating and molding... is this a highly processed food or is this just…

$55% off, eh? Y’all need any editors over there?
i will never understand the people pushing Skinamarink. I bought into the hype and was very excited and went to see this in theaters. During the first 5 minutes I thought “please don’t let this be the whole movie”, and it absolutely was the whole movie. Which is to say, nothing. This is like a bad college…
That is a fair point. My limited understanding of things in WWII is that Japan was unlikely to surrender, and was ready to die to the last citizen. The detonation of the nuke was the only thing that took away any desire to fight from them. I don’t know if the same sentiment existed among the German armies of WWII
My only question is this: WB US and WB Japan are both WB, right? Same parent company? Why wouldn’t WB Japan’s marketing department that presumably runs the Japanese twitter account just kick the complaints up to HQ internally rather than do it publicly via Twitter?
“We find the reaction to this fan-driven movement from the official American account for the movie Barbie to be extremely regrettable,” Warner Bros. Japan’s statement read in part. “We take this very seriously and are asking the American head office to take appropriate action.”
Poor move to let Japan dictate the conversation. I’d love to see #WhatAbout Nanking? trend. Or any of the laundry list of fucked up things the country either outright denies or manipulates to avoid actually coming to terms with.
Dont start trying to violently conquer and rape a nation/planet if you don’t want anyone to bomb you.
Those Japanese getting so offended CLEARLY don’t know the military history of their own country or they would be keeping their heads down and their mouths firmly shut.
I get that the Japanese feel a little bit differently about the atomic bomb because it was dropped on them, but in reality it wasn’t any more destructive than other bombing campaigns during the war (look up the firebombing of Tokyo for instance). Besides, there was going to be a hell of a lot more death if we hadn’t…
thank you for not making this a slide show!
I’m a bit saddened that the first two replies you received seemed to have completely missed your point.
I don’t understand how this made it past the editor. Nevermind the fact that this is one that spellcheck would’ve caught...
