I can’t speak for everyone at the A.V. Club, but I’m sorry about all of those times I broke into your home and made you listen to me tell you what products are bad.

One Cut of the Dead is an absolute delight. One of the best movies of the year.
“That’s... it?”
Yes. The residuals for someone receiving “story by” credit are 0.3% of the gross receipts, and he splits that with Derek Connolly, JJ Abrams and Chris Terrio because all four of them share the “story by” credit. Plus all four of them have to carve out the shares they have to give to agents, managers,…
“Darling, Did your human heart fail today? I heard on the media broadcast that your heart may have ceased to function as you were at the medical facility. I, a human woman from Earth, would be very sad if you ceased to function”
If I didn’t live in Los Angeles I would say Waffle House.
Lately this site has produced some of the worst reviews I’ve ever read, but for weekly reviews of TV shows, I don’t know where else to go. AV Club used to be the best. What’s the best now?
Even though, socially and politically speaking, I’m on the side of the reviewer, she does sound like PC Principal, lol. I wonder if she’s self-aware...
They have now crudely edited the text to say she’s intersex but still say she’s representing a trans woman. That whole paragraph was a disaster. What a fucking train wreck review.
It’s those two words right there, “punching down” when I knew this review was going to be complete SJW shit.
Stephanie is too busy being Woke to be right.
“PCPrincipal asks Heather to leave, he is accused of being a transphobe, which suggests that trans women are quick to call someone a transphobe when met with any kind of criticism—an unfair claim for the show to make.”
Ike and the Canadian Devil?
This was a great episode. (I actually thought AVClub would give it an F so I’m surprised by the C-). Also, who are the two cis white guys from Canada who shouldn’t be offering their opinions on trans issues? (Trey and Matt are from Colorado).
I enjoyed this episode quite a bit as well. I disagree with Perkins’ grading a lot for basically every show he reviews, but at least he backs up his perspective well.
I’m not sure there was a reason for you to say this.
Never Trumpers are just people who want their president to be Neutral Evil, not Chaotic Evil.
You mean you don’t want to read ‘It was kind of funny, but it wasn’t exactly what I wanted, D’?
I work one of those jobs (I’m pretty sure Bill Murray himself worked several of these jobs in the past). Bill Murray put some spring in my step after hearing this. Literally no one at my restaurant felt the way you’re telling us to feel. It was welcomed with smiles and laughter.
That category sounds like my whole life.
Yeah, I believe it was Sun Tzu who said, “Just ignore your enemy and they’ll eventually go away.”
Don’t get me wrong, ignoring works with some far-right figures (e.g. Milo) but that’s because they crave the attention. Bannon was more of a behind-the-scenes guy who found himself thrust into the spotlight. He likes the…
