Argh, decided to research how to get an abortion where I live and now I'm effing pissed. Apparently we have a 24 hour waiting period AND you're required to get counseling about it first-which you have to fucking pay for yourself.

Unfortunately, an IUD is not really an option for me-I did research on them, I don't want hormones and they the non-hormonal copper ones contain nickel, which I'm allergic to. Plus the only one of my friends who got one now seems to be in horrible pain because of it, so it makes me a bit wary.

Well I plan on going to a doctor if I still don't have my period by the end of next week. But as its Saturday evening there's not much I can do now.

Yeah, I doubt the hotel even knew they had that many cats with them-I assume hotels that let you bring pets usually have a limit of 1 or 2, the way apartments do.

Yeah, the whole "you must always be in a relationship" narrative bothers me so much. I'm 24 and I see friends my age and younger saying things like you shouldn't take relationship advice from single/divorced people or whining about being single on pretty much every holiday.

Agree with this so much. The fact that you can fall for somebody else while you're in a relationship means that that relationship wasn't right.

Polls usually open at 6 am and close at 8 pm so there is probably some time before or after work where you could go vote, plus legally I think your boss HAS to give you time off to vote, and it's not like voting is going to make you miss the WHOLE day. Plus there is always early voting/absentee voting.

This is a really good idea. Or just have the elections on the weekends, when less people have to work. I imagine one of the reasons seniors vote in such large numbers is because they usually don't have jobs to go to.
