Is there really a clothing designer in China named "Vega" Wang? Those Chinese will knock-off anything/anyone, won't they...
Maybe they wouldn't be so empty if douchebag "football" fans didn't feel like alienating 95% of the American sporting base with European terminology and elitist international attitude about the "beautiful game".
I'd say this about most incident of "offense".
Yes, this is the WORST thing about American soccer fans, their constant use of British terms when referring to their sport. Kits, pitch, equalizer, nil. Use the term that will relate to the general American public, you assholes.
Yup. I remember that Fantasy Season. (god, that's really sad to type out...)
People buying sweatshop Nikes and Gap jeans were dumb jocks and fashion whores who didn't fully understand the global ramifications of their consumerist decision.
Thank you, sir.

I'd feel more sympathetic to these people if this line weren't included
Have you heard more about the profanity laced Pre-AllStar Game pep talks he supposed gives every year? (like, maybe gotten snippets or at least confirmation)
He may be my favorite Deadspin writer of the moment...
To be clear, the McJordan was delicious. #fatboycomment
"I really hope Deadspin commentators troll them or something."
% does not equal sexism. The NBA is 80% African American, I doubt anyone would argue that it's racist. (well, maybe... Jeremy Lin didn't really get a shot, and Steve Nash shipped around more than he should have been... But I suppose that's not the point).
Unbiased media? Pshaw, get thee back to the 60s...
"The reason such a role was so abhorrent was because the typical performers of such roles were women."
Go back to Jezebel.
Yes, I get that. But the attitude that caused it wasn't about gender roles, it was about the roles themselves. They would have been just as unwilling to do this if the secretarial pool were all men.
