Seriously, who's more fun? That painting and expression are awesome.

You make a good point. On the other hand, it's the greatest Trek captain meeting the greatest Doctor ever. Though I might have picked Jon Pertwee. I'm really loving him lately, and his Venusian Akido and sophisticated manner would be a nice match for Kirk & Spock.

Yeah, Heartbeeps is the first thing I thought of when I read "Robot Comedy". Hopefully Blomkamp can remedy that.

Now playing

I wonder if it's an expansion of one of his short films, like District 9 was.

I don't think he's bad, but his Leiter is very low key, like many of his roles. I wish the character was a kick-ass black American James Bond.

OMG This is Cumberbatch's MOM?!?!

"The short shows what happens WHEN S.H.I.E.L.D. gets wise to these two KIDS' antics."

Science is important in sci fi for the same reason a good, logical plot is- because it sets up expectations, then meets them. All storytelling- mysteries, comedies, horror, drama- involves a build up, then a climax. That climax can come together how you hoped it would- which is satisfying- or surprise you. The

Thank you! I will inform the artist. She's doing this for a book.

Paul McGann deserved way more screen time and adventures. It would be cool to see him again, though not sure how much excitement it would generate.

I bought Minutemen and Nite Owl because of the beautiful artwork by Darwyn Cooke and Joe & Andy Kubert. I don't buy comics often, partly because a lot of the artwork doesn't do anything for me. I'm a cartoonist, I'm very hung up on the visuals (yes, I like a well written story too). I enjoyed those two very much, and

My talented artist pal Jennifer Cruté just drew a comic about Mae. Coincidence?

I would love to see a Guardians movie. Maybe the post-credits Thanos scene was setting up that, and has nothing to do with Avengers 2? I hope so. Ithink I'd prefer the Avengers to fight Ultron.
