When I read "prostitute-warrior" I thought of Frank Millar and Zack Snyder's "empowered" women, but then I read that the author actually had some life experience with these women. I assume he has some actual insights into them as human beings. Still, if a woman became a warrior and revolutionary, would she still be a

That's Faora's, not Zod's.

Well, if you have siblings, it's pretty repugnant, and personally it's not a mental frontier I want to push. And parent/child, that's just 100% evil. But seeing fictional siblings push it doesn't bother me. LANNISTERS!

It occured to me that they might get rid of the alien bit. It's too "unrealistic" for Nolan-influenced superhero movies, and shoehorning that into Raimi's film was one of the worst things about SM3.

Another Christ relic? What would be so automatically awesome about that?

"...All these tidbits about webs, artificial webs, is a huge industry now. Spiderwebs have unique qualities that will be huge for communications, fibers, and so forth..."

Shtupping.

I think it was a bad movie BEFORE it was even shot- you know, via time travel.

I think you got your cyborg definition from Captain Picard. Cyborgs are some sort of fusion of bio and cyber. The exact ratio or dependance on one or the other is not a hard rule, since such things don't exactly exist, unless you count pacemakers and prosthetics. And you shouldn't, because we know they're not Darth

We did not fear ELECTRONICS in 1984. Come on! We feared nuclear holocaust, for decades. By the 80's we were more fascinated by the idea. We dealt with the fear by assuming somehow some of us would survive, and be free to wear as much leather and ammo as we wanted.

+1 for the Cree Summer mention!

Someone else's post suggested that the Earth was crushed to a singularity, which, having the same mass as Earth, would still hold the station in it's orbit (take that, stupid Abrams Trek movie). That made me think-

How many movies have EVERYTHING wiped out? Besides- what if the Earth ISN'T destroyed? What if the LHC caused it to disappear into time or another dimension or some crap, and there is perhaps a way to get to it? Pause that hate for awhile.

They would fly away from where Earth was in a relatively straight line. They probably would never hit anything, the biggest risk would be the space junk in Earth's orbit. Once they cleared that they would probably live for months until their rations ran out. I think that would happen before they got far away enough

"why not just send back terminators to start taking over the world in the past?"

Does Kristen Schaal have to do a pretend voice to portray these cartoon girls? That woman is a living cartoon character. And I say that in the most loving way possible.

You said it. I met this one at a con once. I drew a picture of her, and she gave me a kiss. I was such a young nerd, I closed my eyes and squeeled.

That's an awesome idea. Why doesn't someone do that?

Imagine missing out on being in Thor 2 because of your commitment to ONCE UPON A TIME?

"I want Polaris in there. I want a sexy green-haired girl to fall in love with. That's all I'm asking for."
