I'm a little disappointed to see the vampires in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter do the CGI big mouth thing- it's become a cliche- but the trailer left me laughing out loud, in a good way. Lincoln doing the kick flip slash thing at the end is so over the top it's fun.

I thought two was too much, but I enjoyed Loki more in Avengers than Thor. Still, three is really pushing it. I hope he has a very diminished role, maybe coming in as an ally, then betraying Thor in the end, then being consigned to the underworld or whatever so we know he won't be back for a while.

I hate red shirt jokes. There's filk songs about them from the 70's! It's just such a tired old joke.

Oh yeah!

Never heard of it, but I guess so! Lucky lady. Better role than sucking people's blood through a straw and running from the Judoon.

Bette Davis?

That ain't no ventriloquist dummy.

"There’s more water on Jupiter’s moon Europa than there is on Earth"

I like Kathy Bates, but that's probably just me. I think Caan was older than her, and he was not at all a willing partner. Harold and Maude was a black comedy built largely around the inappropriateness, or at best unconventionality, of their relationship.

In Europe or America, ever. Can you imagine an age reversal in a movie like Yes Man where Jim Carrey was 46 and Zooey Deschanel was 28? There's even a joke in the movie where he disgustedly refuses sex from Fionnula Flanagan (who I have always thought was beautiful).

Can I taste it?

Baker needed The Watcher because a normal regeneration would not do for the most awesome Doctor of all time.

I know it's some kind of immaturity that makes us want everyone in American movies to always be pretty, but it seems to me like European movies often have very ugly men with beautiful women.

I just found it by Googling their names. I also watched a short clip of the interview on YouTube. I don't know anything about the show.

I think it's just the music from one of the many Prometheus trailers which is probably always on somebody's TV at all times.

I had that around the house- I think on VHS- I meant to watch it, but never got around to it. Definitely plan to.

I think they should call it "Modern Day Twentysomething Angsty Robin Hood" and someone else should make a real superhero show.

It also means a bigger committee of non-creative people giving the bucks and expecting to make creative decisions in return. This is why Robert Rodriguez actually refuses a lot of money- so he can have more control and do things simpler and faster.

"...there's going to be lots of nostalgia for Doctor Who fans over the next year or two years..."

Back in the 80's I would watch almost anything that had an even remotely sci fi concept, but I never watched ALF. I thought he was ugly, didn't seem very alien, and was just unattractive in every way. I do not think it would do well in a comeback.
