Good! How about-
The beginning of the trailer had me thinking of #CharlieJane's "How to Tell From a Trailer That a Movie Is Going to Suck" article.
NO! She didn't kill those people, the tiny aliens did.
My point is, they said it was not a reboot (based on it being an alternate timeline), but it WAS a reboot.
Finally watched Paul last weekend. It was funny! Not great- the thing about him helping write a lot of geek movies gave them an easy way of spoofing lots of sci fi movies that have been spoofed way too much, but it was a cute, fun movie.
He might mean they're not doing Khan, and it might mean they're not doing the same story.
Tron is supposed to be about the cutting edge of technology. Very short shelf life.
Instead of Scotty. Much better.
OH THERE ARE!!!
Futurama, like Back to the Future, is a comedy. The rules only have to make sense within the framework of the funny story. Fry could not be his own grandfather, but it's a hilarious concept.
Get in line.
I was talking about Captain Picard and his dead nephew and brother.
I did not say it was not time travel, I said it was pointless.
La Jetee has a place in the history of film (and time travel movies), but that doesn't make it watchable or enjoyable. Or even necessarily good.
That movie is not about time travel. Time travel is just a thing that happens at the beginning of the movie to get Ash where he needs to be to kick Medieval ass.
