Sorta? I think of Jeep as the bare bones, go anywhere kind of vehicle. An off-road only vehicle isn’t a go anywhere vehicle, just as much as the newer Wranglers aren’t bare bones. Compared to a Gelandewagen it is, but my mental image of a Jeep is a 2 door with the roof back, doors missing, and three pedals.
