yeah i saw that but it still makes no sense with the air entering outlined parts and the color bleeding into these neighboring parts. from the video i didn’t notice holes in the restrictor or hidden passages its one solid machined piece so showing the air flow arrows just going right through solid parts is kinda wierd…

This was my understanding that the pressure of the clamps on the washers made the washers conical or at least more so and pushed the restrictor away from the turbo and then when the clamp was removed the washers relaxed and the restrictor was flush again.

So judging by that really confusing diagram the device using magic allows air to pass through solid materials into the turbocharger.
