Using percentages for such trivial costs (in terms of an NFL budget) is a bit misleading. And Locke's college numbers compare unfavorably to Kluwe's pro stats.
If Ayanbadejo or Collins never play again, that's understandable considering their lack of talent and increasing age. But Kluwe getting cut and Kerry Rhodes still being on the market are hard to explain with anything other than "GMs are nervous about gay players, closeted players, and outspoken players."
