I thought it ironic that it was the first story I read too! I'm still feeling the drugs from the surgery and have morphine and anti pukey drugs too and some benadryl because pain meds give me the itchies. Still awake somehow.

Soooo...I'm reading this from my hospital bed at 3 am because I'm in too much pain to sleep. From my appendectomy.

My daughter had the onset of breast development and pubic hair at 8 and a half followed by menarche at 9.

Thanks! The first one I did last week was on erotic poetry night...which anyone who knows me can tell you was the easiest type for me to do! This one is going to be straight from the heart and that's a much tougher subject to expound on publicly yet one I'm really looking forward to!

Thanks! I did my first one last week and I can't believe how much fun it was! I can honestly say that since I had children (nineteen years ago! lol) this was the most fun I've had going 'out'. It's just such a great time with an amazing bunch of people. :)

Monday is my birthday and I'm going to be doing my second poetry reading! I'm so excited - I can't wait! :)

Jesus facepalming. I so hearted you for this...

I've discovered the United States of Tara. I've spent an entire day watching seasons 1 & 2. I'm having a hard time stopping which I have to because Mad Men starts in a little over 20 minutes!

Any chance I get to share that site I take it - I LOVE her!

She's great but that drawing of the geese just puts me over the edge every single time!

This is the best thing I've read about how evil geese are so of course I had to share.

Dear God I've got such a girl crush on her!

He's okay now. I got him in the bubble bath and then a story read and a gadget to make (he's extremely into circuit boards and creating Frankenstein toys so it works as a calmer downer lol). I guess that they were on the next street over riding four wheelers and he kept going or stopping when the husband told him to

That's exactly what I said - er, yelled - out loud when I read that comment!

It's okay. Especially if you have irregular periods. I know it's hard to relax but take a deep breath and know that things are really going to be just fine.

Aleve and ice. Too bad you don't have a doc because you could ask them to call in a script for Toradol which works wonders on sciatica.

Last night it was me ;) Here's hoping your night stays quiet ~raising my LARGE glass of wine in salute...

I just did my first poetry reading! I'm so stoked to do another and it's going to work out that it will be on my birthday! :) There were poets from all over the state and wow they were amazing. Such a wonderful experience and I honestly cannot wait to get in front of that mic again :)

Thanks...today is better. Well, was. The 10 year old just came in sobbing that his father spent the day yelling at him while I was with my eldest at a festival. He said that my husband told him he was embarrassed by him.

Thanks. One of these days I'll be able to take a breath and feel whole again. I just hope sooner rather than later. Because damn anxiety sucks! ;)
