I completely agree with you, the dickwolves thing was blown completely out of proportion (and heck, the comic was funny). However, some of the other comments he made were a bit insensitive (about the trans community, gender identification, etc. etc.), and so I think this apology is warranted and appreciated as well.

Why is it the "eventual real Wii U Zelda game" feels to me like Twilight Princess? Before the console was released, we got a tech demo of a neat-looking Zelda game, everyone says "I want that," then we get a bunch of Zelda games unrelated to that demo, and eventually it winds up as a launch title for the next console…
