All this sounds extremely unhealthy. Why don't they do what Indycar does and level the playing field by adding ballast to the lighter cars to match the weight of the heaviest driver?

Has anyone else noticed that cars from the 50's have the steering wheel literally sitting in your lap? Especially on pick-ups.

Sounds more like an F1 V8 than an Indycar though
