Tolkien established a world, spent most of his life doing it. The stories he told were based on old European folklore, which is why there’s not many people of color in them. There are still people of color in his world, but the stories he told weren’t about them as they weren’t European meaning he wouldn’t know how to

Ahhh, 2022, the year virtue signaling became the most popular way to market your shitty IP cash-in.

Pyke proposed building an aircraft carrier out of his pykrete.

I mean, Rob Schneider sucks, but he’s not wrong in this instance. That was a really embarrassing/cringey moment for a comedy show.

So true. I think about that article all the time. He also had a great article when The Return was announced.

Some pretty weak choices here. It’s usually best to actually watch movies that take place at high schools before compiling such a list. Some notable omissions:

Where is Heathers? Election? smh

#2 - Bates High School, a school with bullying so institutionalised that the protagonist burns it down
#4 - Vince Lombardi High, a school that’s basically run under a dictatorship so messed up that it, too, is razed with fire.

Just write a fuggin' article.

The last half of the trailer leans pretty hard into “laugh at the Texas hicks” territory.

I wish the reviewer had mentioned whether he liked or disliked "The Premise", which I had high hopes for but turned out to be absolute crap, with occasional exceptions. If this is anything like that I don't want any part of this.

It is hard overstate what a amazing star he was throughout my lifetime. He was huge when I grew up in the 70's. He will be sorely missed.

Is this ironic humor?
