I prefer Michael Keaton as Batman. Adam West had a campy sense of humor about his TV Batman, but for all the Batmans I have seen, I’ll take Michael Keaton for the win.
If I remember correctly, it’s suppose to draw the aim of criminals since it is the most bulletproof part of the suit. That explanation may be a Frank Miller recon but I still like it.
You probably remember him better for “the Breakup song” and “Jeopardy” back in the early 80's...
First of all, “Team Yellow Oval” forever!
Man, that’s just MEAN.
I read one Friedman book and it was pretty entertaining. I should order some more. I have to read/dig through your blog more, but did you ever read Greg Kihn’s crime fiction? It’s pretty decent and better than I thought it was going to be. Granted I only read two books but...
Thanks for the great advice. I look forward to reading more of your blog. Going by the retro commercial from 1975 I’d guess you’re around my age (I’m born in 72).

First, great blog and thanks for the recommends!
Considering it’s Bill Burr, this sounds less like ‘Tim Allen hates the present’ and more like the movie sequel to Men of a Certain Age that I’ve always wanted
How has it exploited it’s female cast? The only thing I’ve read was when Sydney Sweeney talked about being able to nix nude scenes if she was uncomfortable.
Now I’m even more impressed. I have a decent collection of Elmore Leonard but mainly just boring paperback copies I’ve picked up over the year.
>and, whoops, oh no, there went our Tim Allen sensors again
A friend of mine interviewed Westlake way late in his career, a couple years before he died. He was STILL worried, sometimes rightly so, about manuscripts being rejected. Jeez, I know he wasn’t perfect, but over his decades-long career, not one of his scores of novels was uninteresting, or unsellable...
