I’ve been watching the old MonsterVision bits on Youtube. I had never heard of Shudder either before Joe Bob showed up.

Some of those canals are so full of gators, and big ones, that you would never jump in. Especially with that surface cover where they can hide.  They are attracted to splashing and can be aggressive.

That video clip showed up in the Youtube sidebar yesterday while I was watching/listening to a bunch of new MonsterVision host segment uploads that went up last week.  A whole bunch, about three dozen.  I was lucky enough to catch the Shudder segments on Youtube before they got deleted but I missed the marathon.  More

Joe Bob explains the convoluted history of the Demons series.  “You probably think I’m finished now.  That would be a mistake on your part.”

LSU started the season in Washington in 2012.

They are very good. Reading the first Fletch book now from way back in 1974. Also good.

First visit to Tor Eckman is only 38 bucks.

Bernie Gunther series by Philip Kerr. Mr. Kerr died earlier in the year so the next will be the last. Poor Bernie. Great series.

The Dead Zone and ‘Salem’s Lot are the two best King books.

Fletch by Fletch F. Fletch.  Not as silly as the movie but still funny and wisecracking.

I watched that in the 70s.  Dracula and Ghost Ship promos with Ernie Anderson.

The Wraith (1986) with Charlie Sheen.  Clint Howard’s finest performance.  It’s great.

What a crappy list of bad movies.  And complete bullshit.

You leave Jack Burton alone!
