The only crime here is Vertical Video

I don't know what kind of games you play but I think EA prepared us pretty well for that. :)

meh, you can of course play the semantics, but i'm with the carbarian on this. The article quite clearly takes a rather hostile attitude towards the f2p game. I mean it invites the comparison to "real Star War games" at the first paragraph, implying that this game isn't "real" (whatever that means). Then it goes on to

I love how the article throws this under the bus when monetization isn't even mentioned on the website as of yet. F2P isn't inherently bad, bad attempts at monetization in F2P tends to be it.

That said, I love me some star wars space combat, so I'm in.

Second poll:

So can anybody tell me what a real job might be? No need to define it, just start listing them.

No, he isn't.

I can understand that, but I really just don't get PC game piracy. I mean, why? At least for me, there's a lot more risk involved and it's actually more difficult to do a torrent than pay the extremely low prices that Steam/GMG/etc. offer and download all in one client. It's well organized, dead simple, and best of

'please no jokes or I will shoot you" Oh the irony...

You're bummed that your favorite childhood fantasies are gonna be destroyed by a company that built itself on creating almost everyone's favorite childhood fantasies?

Nothing they produce can be worse than The Crystal Skull. So awful.

I had 4 of them, but only two have survived over the years. I had Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr, Galaxian, and Zaxxon (only have DK and DK jr left, but both still work).

I had one of those too, and loved it...especially during winter electricity blackouts, which were much more common back then.

God I wish I still mine. If I only knew then what I know now.....

That goes without saying, quite frankly. The writer of this piece is clearly jealous that he didn't get a chance to experience the glory that was being an '80s kid.

Only someone who wasn't a kid in '84 says that toys sucked during a year when Transformers were introduced to us.

1984 was awesome for toys. 1st year of Transformers. GI Joe, He-Man, etc.

As someone who was 14 in 1984 I disagree.
