That's what made them so fun! Not only were they toys, they were projectile weapons! The cats loved em too. Nothing ends a heated grand prix, like a giant cat paw.

We used to have a set of those back home. If I remember right, they were super fast once they got going on a straightaway bit of track. So fast that when they hit a turn, they'd go flying off the track and smash into the wall across the room before you even knew what happened. :P
